In this role, we will teach how to do the following responsibilities.
Estimating: This position is responsible for responding to Requests for Bids and Proposals (RFB’s / RFP’s), understanding specifications, reading and interpreting blueprints, soliciting bids from vendors, negotiating purchase orders, determining schedules, preparing and following-up on proposals as it pertains to Fire Extinguishers / Cabinets.
Project Coordination: This involves coordinating with the delivery, pulling items from inventory and coordinating with the warehouse.
Organization: There are many projects going on at the same time. The person in this position will have to be able to organize their daily activities with minimal supervision, balancing both the estimating and proposal activities along with field installations.
Learning: Our product lines are vast and the details within each are important to know. In this position, getting up to speed on the variety of products, accessories and applications will be critical and on-going or continual learning will be required and expected. Success comes from knowing details of the products and their application so we as a company are efficient and responsive to our customers.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or trades/technical graduate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good mathematic skills
- Analytical, comfortable with technical information
- Able to make informed, reasoned decisions
- Being able to work independently and with teams
- Proficient with PC’s, Microsoft Office
- Positive, up-beat spirit and attitude
- Confident, proven abilities
